Earnslaw Burn in Mt Aspiring National Park is one of the most spectacular in the country. It was also used as one of the locations for Middle-Earth in The Hobbit films. This location is truly magical with towering waterfalls, chiselled stone cliffs and glacial blue ice.

Land on the valley floor in lush tussock with the blue ice of Earnslaw Glacier looming above. Multiple waterfalls tumble 2000m down a rock face to pools below. Imagine your ceremony set in this picturesque valley with the sound of cascading water and the rare view of a glacier directly overhead. Our helicopter company has exclusive landing access to the valley.

*Please  note that during the winter months there are not as many fast flowing waterfalls compared to the rest of the year. This is still a stunning and magical location even in winter, however we would like you to be aware of this.
