This is our base elopement package, and for most couples it’s all you need. A helicopter flight from Queenstown Airport, a landing in the Southern Alps, a celebrant, a photographer, and someone to handle every detail in between. No stress, no fuss but no compromise on an incredible experience and damn fine photos to remember it by.
Simple is Beautiful is designed to be flexible from the ground up. Choose a single alpine landing or fly to two, three or even four. Keep it just the two of you or bring a small group. Add an Embrace the Journey upgrade for a first look and photos before your flight. Add hair, makeup, flowers, or a ceremony video, short social highlight video — or keep it simple and stick with the basics. It’s totally up to you! The package works around what matters to you, not the other way around.
What does a Queenstown helicopter elopement package include?
Every Simple is Beautiful package includes the following as standard:
🧡 Photography — Scott shoots your helicopter flight, your ceremony, and your full mountain photo session. You’ll receive a sneak peek gallery the day after your wedding and your complete edited gallery within two to three weeks.
🧡 Celebrant and legal support — A professional celebrant to lead your personalised ceremony, plus full support with your marriage licence application. Your pilot and photographer act as legal witnesses.
🧡 Helicopter flight — Private helicopter departing Queenstown Airport to your chosen landing location. Single, dual, or triple or four landing options available across the full range of our locations, from nearby Best of Queenstown spots to thirty-minute deep Alps landings.
🧡 Mountain landing time — Choose 45, 60, 75, or 90 minutes on the ground. Longer landing times mean more photography, more time to take it in, and a more relaxed pace.
🧡 Planning and coordination — Melissa handles your full personal timeline, logistics, scheduling and vendors. You won’t need to chase anything or chase anyone.
🧡 The extras that matter — Complimentary use of our vintage and designer fur jacket collection, umbrellas if there is a chance of rain, a private online gallery for sharing and downloading, and flexibility for weather changes.

What can I add to the package?
Optional extras include professional hair and makeup, bridal flowers and bouquets, a ceremony video (delivered the following day), additional landing time, and ground transport. The Embrace the Journey upgrade adds a first look and extended photo session before your helicopter flight — ideal if you want more variety in your images or a slower, more relaxed morning.

Our landing locations range from well-known alpine spots to secret, unnamed locations that Scott has discovered in years of flying the Southern Alps — places that don’t appear on any travel guide or competitor’s location list.
