If you want an adventure wedding with incredible scenery and views lifted right from a film set, then look no further! Atlanta and Mitchell travelled from Australia for their surprise elopement and it was a bit of a special one. After exchanging vows at the base of the waterfalls at Earnslaw Burn, they trekked around for photos then hopped back in the helicopter for a second landing. We LOVE when couples trust Scott with locations and are keen to explore – it’s always worth it. They ended up off the beaten track on top of Mt Alfred, high above braided rivers with views of the Dart Valley in one direction and Lake Wakatipu in the other. It is one of the locations used in the Lord of The Rings movies and does feel like it’s right out of a fantasy movie.
Atlanta and Mitchell were such great fun and laughed their way through the whole experience. And they even bought donuts for everyone to share!
