Lake Erskine is a high-altitude landing just west of Milford, nearly 1400m above sea level. The lake is a glacial blue with a rocky mountain backdrop that will be covered in snow right through to the end of spring. The lake does freeze over completely in winter but starts thawing as temperatures warm up as we head into summer.
