Lake Erskine is a spectacular mountain wedding destination. It is a small glacial lake, located 1390 metres high in the mountains of Fiordland National Park. In summer the lake is a bright aqua-blue with crisp reflections. In winter months (July to September) the lake will be covered in ice or frozen and surrounding mountains thick with snow.

The helicopter flight to Lake Erskine is about 25 minutes and will take you over breath-taking mountain scenery. You’ll see vast braided river systems, majestic mountains and a jaw-dropping waterfall gushing hundreds of metres down the cliff-face before you land.
