After many years together Davina and Dean (or Skinny to his mates) wanted to have a chilled wedding with two of their closest friends, in amazing locations. With Coromandel Peak and The Remarkables as two landing destinations, it was always going to be stunning. But what we got was an incredible scene on top of Coromandel Peak with Lake Wanaka completely covered by an immersion cloud and fresh snow. Landing on Coromandel Peak is not often possible with an inversion cloud but flying from Queenstown, the helicopter came in from above to land in a truly magical setting.
They cut fresh tracks in powder for their ceremony on top of the clouds. Afterwards they flew back to Queenstown and headed up to Double Cone, at the tip of The Remarkables. With more knee deep snow and majestic views over Lake Wakatipu they shared an amazing and unforgettable experience with two people special to them.
