Close to Queenstown – Remarkables Spur 

The Remarkables are the iconic mountain range which looms above Queenstown and Lake Wakatipu. Located on the south-eastern shore of the lake they rise up sharply to create a dramatic backdrop.

The helicopter lands just below the ridge line of The Remarkables Spur at just under 5000ft. Views are back across Lake Wakatipu and over to Cecil Peak. The area is relatively easy to get around with grassy terrain and some rocky outcrops. The ridge line creates a dramatic element in photos with Lake Wakatipu and surrounding mountains as a stunning backdrop.
