Dwannylyn and Chris had all the usual Covid upset and delays but in the end their elopement was so perfect it was worth the wait. In winter Moke Lake is most often inaccessible by car so they flew in by helicopter for their ceremony. Not only did it look like a snowy, winter wonderland but they had it completely to themselves for a truly private and intimate experience. Their ceremony by celebrant Andrew Bell was full of laughter as these two were so excited to finally be getting married!
After some time for photos and a wedding toast at Moke Lake, they hopped back in the helicopter to Mt Crichton for more snowy goodness and a couple of snow fights. The scenery here in winter is even more stunning with snow on surrounding mountains and views over Lake Wakatipu and Pig Island toward Glenorchy.
