Lindsey and Parker travelled all the way from the USA for their New Zealand elopement. Initially their plans were to travel on their own but family had other ideas! They were super excited to be able to fly loved ones with them to the ceremony location and then fly to another landing for an adventure of their own.
Scott started with them for a relaxed first look photos and walkabout at Gibbston Valley Lodge before heading in to the helicopter hangar. Weather is always the unknown element in any mountain wedding and low cloud meant the helicopter couldn’t landing at Coromandel Peak. Sometimes the plan B is even better though and the ceremony location at Mt Alpha floated above the clouds in a dreamy, surreal landscape. Then after the goodbyes, off to Earnslaw Tarns with mirror-glass tarns reflecting the Earnslaw Glacier looming behind.
These two were so lovely and so much fun to be around and we loved begin a part of their day.
