FLIGHT TIME: 20-25 MINUTES FROM QUEENSTOWN AIRPORT

Magical Places / Earnslaw Burn 

This is one of our favourite locations and an ideal dual landing. Located above the Earnslaw Burn valley floor, you’ll have a spectacular flight over Earnslaw Glacier to get here, so close you’ll feel like you could touch it! The area is filled with alpine tarns (small ponds filled with water from the glacier). With Earnslaw Glacier right behind this location it’s an ideal way to get a snowy white backdrop even in the height of summer. On still days the Tarns are super-reflective and a photographers dream spot!

*Please note that during the winter months the Tarns will be frozen.
