Bayonet Peak is the next peak to the South of Cecil Peak. It looks across Lake Wakatipu towards the Remarkables. There are several landing locations on Bayonet Peak at various altitudes with different aspects and views. Most have areas of tussock, rocky outcrops and views over valleys and Cecil Peak Station.
