Don’t be afraid if it rains on your wedding day, embrace it! In the words of our bride they were “showered with luck and love.” This was a beautiful elopement with two people who are so obviously meant for each other. It was a bit of a moment when Nic teared up seeing his bride for the first time, with plenty of happy tears and laughs throughout the rest of the day.
We couldn’t get to the higher peaks due to low cloud and wind so Scott and the pilot found them a couple of sheltered spots at Round Hill and then Bayonet Peak instead. First a snowy mountain backdrop for their ceremony, then with great views across Lake Wakatipu for some more time exploring and a photo shoot.
