The Ridgeline at the very top of Cecil Peak is a dramatic landing location. It has views across to The Remarkables on one side, and up Lake Wakatipu toward Glenorchy on the other. It is a smaller landing spot so the area to walk around is more limited than other locations, so ideally suited for 45 minute landings or an option in a dual landing. However, views are spectacular and it’s good spot to find snow in the shoulder seasons.
