Got a few questions? These may help.

What’s your film and photography style?

Our style for both film and photos is best described as laid back and natural. We prefer to let you be yourselves, have fun and get married!

Where are you based?

We’re based in an idyllic coastal town called Riverton two hours south of Queenstown, however we work nearly exclusively in Queenstown. Nestled in the breathtaking Southern Alps it boasts an incredible choice of stunning mountain and lake locations. Queenstown is known for it’s adventure activities, world-class restaurants and accommodation making it ideal for a wedding holiday. It also has a healthy network of some of the best wedding professionals in the business.

Can we meet you?

Absolutely, we encourage it! Thanks to Skype we can meet and chat about your wedding no matter where in the world you are.

What do we do if there’s bad weather on our wedding day?

In an alpine environment the weather can be unpredictable so it’s advisable to have a solid Plan B in place and we’ll help you with that. We only take a limited number of weddings each month so try to have a day or two around your date available to reschedule if necessary. We’ll talk about this as part of the process.

If you’ve booked and paid for a helicopter and it doesn’t fly due to bad weather, this amount will be refunded to you in full.

How can we book?

We operate on a first-come first-served basis and open up bookings 12 months in advance. To confirm a booking we require a non-refundable retainer along with the return of a signed contract. The balance is due two weeks before your wedding date. As we only take a limited number of bookings each month we suggest you book in a place as soon as you can and we can lock in an exact date a little later.

Do we get high resolution photos?

You sure do! Every single photo you receive is edited and retouched to a high standard. All your edited photos are in high resolution that you will be able to print to large sizes anywhere.

Who does your editing?

We do! Scott edits every film, Melissa edits and retouches every photo. Unlike many wedding film companies and photographers we never use freelance editors and never will. We’re big believers that we are the best people to ensure every film and every photo gets the love and attention it deserves. It’s the only way to ensure consistency of style and quality and result in a product we’re proud to put our name to.

How long before we get our photos and film?

If you would like it we’ll give you a sneak peak of one or two photos on social media the day after your wedding. For photo only packages you’ll receive your edited photos on an online gallery 1-2 weeks after your wedding. For photo and film packages this may be a little longer and more like 2-3 weeks. If you’re planning a reception back home, let us know the date and we’ll make sure you have something to show.

How do we receive our film and photos?

You’ll be sent a link where you can download the mp4 digital file of your feature film and your ceremony video. Your film will also be hosted online to share with family and friends for a minimum of 12 months.

Your photos will be hosted on a private online gallery for 12 months. From here you will be able to download the high resolution files, share favourites and/or your curated gallery and order prints.

Can I get an album?

Yes! We offer a range of beautiful-quality Heirloom albums printed and hand bound in New Zealand. Heirloom albums are lay-flat, bespoke coffee-table books with thick luxurious pages. Melissa personally designs each album with your favourite photos and as a former international book designer your album design is in safe hands. A range of sizes and cover options are available.
